Gunawan Susanto, better known as Gun, is a Partner & Fund Director at Maven Asia Capital. He brings over 20 years of experience in the information technology (IT) industry, covering hardware, software, consulting, and IT services, serving companies across various industries

For the past nine years, Gun has led two major IT companies — Amazon Web Services (AWS) and IBM Indonesia — where he served as President Director and CEO. He played a pivotal role in building and expanding AWS’s business in Indonesia, transforming IBM Indonesia into an IT services provider, and ensuring operational excellence in managing global enterprises.



This extensive experience serves as a strong foundation to support the rapid growth of startups within Maven Asia Capital’s portfolio. Beyond his formal roles, this Mechanical Engineering graduate from Universitas Indonesia actively shares his insights and expertise with the local startup ecosystem through his involvement as a Mentor at Endeavor Indonesia and a member of YPO Pan Indonesia.
